Murray F. Yaco published a small number of science fiction stories in mid-20th-century magazines, with “Membership Drive” appearing in If: Worlds of Science Fiction in 1957. His work often places human institutions under pressure from unexpected encounters, using sharp dialogue and controlled reveals to shift the reader’s understanding.
