Jibril & Jax The Caterpillar: Book 1

Meet Jibril, a little boy hoping to one day attend Coppin State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). For now, he is an up-and-coming biologist who hasn’t quite mastered science just yet — he still has much to learn.

In the meantime, Jibril is excited about studying plants, animals, and insects during his summer breaks from school. His family’s backyard is his laboratory.

On a hot summer day, he meets Jax the Caterpillar. Jibril knows a lot of information — but does he know it all? Or will he listen and learn a thing or two about friendship and growth from Jax, the caterpillar who believes in Jibril’s potential to grow wings one day and fly?
