Early in the morning of October 3rd, 1994, a woman, living in Eugene, Oregon, woke up in her first floor bedroom to the sound of screaming coming from somewhere on the other side of her house. She thought the noise must be coming from her TV set in the living room, but as she stepped into the hallway, she realized this was not the case. The screaming was coming from an actual person, who sounded like they might be in her garage. So she ran down the hall, across the living room and over to the door that led into the garage, and she flung it open. Seconds later, this woman would be living a nightmare.
