Excuse me, I`m a Monster

Welcome to the Rose Castle. In this lovingly retold fairy-tale audiobook, the classic tale of "Beauty and the Beast" becomes a warm and humorous story about a monster who is very different from what everyone believes. Fussel lives alone in an old Rose Castle. He is enormous and shaggy, with horns, huge paws and glowing yellow eyes. In the nearby village, people tell the most dreadful stories about the monster in the forest. The trouble is, Fussel has absolutely no talent for being a monster. He bakes blueberry cake, looks after his roses, reads stories to his enchanted furniture and even carefully carries flies outside. And whenever he does happen to frighten someone, the first thing he usually says is: "Excuse me." When Emilie arrives at the Rose Castle and simply refuses to run away from him, Fussel's life begins to change. Together, they discover a castle filled with talking furniture, little secrets and some rather peculiar inhabitants. But while Emilie has already discovered what Fussel is really like, fear and suspicion are growing in the village. With warmth, gentle humour and plenty of blueberry cake, this free fairy-tale adaptation gives a familiar story a fresh twist. This is not a story about an enchanted prince who has to become human again in the end. Fussel gets to stay Fussel. An audiobook to snuggle up with, to wonder at, to laugh along with and to be swept away by. For young fairy-tale fans aged 5 and up, and for families who would like to meet an unusual monster and discover a wonderfully peculiar Rose Castle. **Production Note** This audiobook was produced with the support of licensed AI-assisted tools.
