In 2018, I produced a series of episodes about an HIV epidemic in Austin, Indiana. This interlude in that series is my own personal story. It was recorded in a single take, with minimal editing. I was significantly more anxious sharing it this time than I was originally. The upside is it feels so far away, because life is so much better now. CW: Rape, HIV, Alcohol abuse.
