Friendly Frequencies

In this spontaneous and accidental podcast, I filmed a vulnerable moment of shame and perceived weakness while eating breakfast in the back of my car in Tasmania.

I am noticing my relationship with food and external forces that give me a sense of pleasure and comfort. I eat more when I am not distracted by some other source of fake dopamine or extreme bouts of oxytocin.

Now that I live alone in my car, I face the mirror of silence. My crutches are held up to a magnifying glass, and I continue to work on my ability to sit with the desire and find peace in it over time, rather than give in and spiral out in a shameful mind and a sore tummy.

This is an episode on overeating, which relates to smoking and any other form of addiction. Most of us are addicted to something, and it is a goal of mine to move beyond addiction so that I can experience God in the way my soul is asking me to.

#64: What is Life Beyond Craving? Self-Reflection Through Oats

Celina is a solo travelling woman of the world and a coaching client who quickly became one of my closest friends. She is on my female Avengers team and is an important character on my board. We just met in person for the first time and knew it was only fitting to record a podcast, especially since our friendship started when she discovered my podcast!

Celina has been solo travelling all over the world for the last eight years. Yes, eight years. She shares some of her diamonds of wisdom as she continues to grow as a woman of the world, offering insights into her struggles and breakthroughs with money, self-love, and social media as she begins getting paid to be who she is.

We also dive into what it’s like to create our own businesses as Manifesting Generators, discussing the conditioning we’ve had to overcome around our Human Design so that we can explore our purpose through many avenues.

This woman oozes life in everything she does and has profoundly changed my life with her unwavering support for my vision. I am beyond excited to see her continue sharing her vision with the world beautifully and vulnerably.

Micha is one of the wisest souls I have had the pleasure of welcoming on the podcast and welcoming into my life (and female Avengers team). This woman is another client-turned-bestie and has become an integral part of Women of the World.

Welcome my dear friend to the Friendly Frequencies Podcast! I am blessed and grateful to have you here with me on this journey. My name is Carmen MacLeod and I am the visionary force behind Friendly Frequencies, a podcast that shares tools of self reflection to aid in your revolutionary shifts in this life.

As I travel the world solo as an artist, tour guide, and life coach, I am recording my journey through self discovery, personal development, and spiritual growth. Three Months ago, my podcast was deleted off all platforms due to a choice I made, not knowing the severe effects it would have. Since then I have been reflecting, learning, gathering old episodes and rebuilding the podcast, alongside my busy life as a tour guide in the Philippines. The day is now here where I am able to be with you all again.

In this episode, I explain what happened to the podcast, what I learned from that experience, and what has happened in my life since then. Since my last episode, my entire world has shifted and I have moved to the next level in many different ways.

After this episode (recorded July of 2023), the rest of the episodes will fall in chronological order (starting in May of 2022). Notice the change in my voice, vibe, and maturity from this episode to my first episode over one year ago. I am not the same person today as I was when I created this podcast, and this is only just the beginning.

#2: The Beginning of My Solo Travels and My Initiation Into Presence

In this episode I discuss risk-taking as being vital to our growth as human beings. In order to keep moving forward, we must say yes to opportunities and move past the fear that we all experience before taking the leap - the key word here is before.

I believe that everything happens for a reason, even the rough times or perceived "red lights". I see everything as a part of the red thread that will inevitably lead me to the life I am meant to live. This thinking allows me to live without worry of any negative or uncertain outcome, which allows me to take more risks. I relate this to the discussion of red lights and green lights that come up for each person as they drive through life.

Over the last two years I have had three major epiphanies, and one of them I classify as a spiritual download from God/the universe/my higher self (whatever you want to call it). #7: The Best Piece of Advice Given to Me by My Mother

Today, my dear friend, Gema, joined me to share about our surreal experience as friends over the last month and a half. 

Gema and I met at one of the jobs I was working at as an artist in the Philippines, and quickly became soul sisters. I have never experienced a relationship quite like this one, as being around her and her energy nearly every day feeds my energy, and vise versa, to the point where she and I are bathing in an ever flowing stream of abundance together... thanks to each other.

Together, we explain some of the nearly unexplainable things that have happened to us over the short time we have known each other, and how it is a result of the energy we constantly give to each other and to the world.

This is the kind of friendship that lights up my soul and leaves me feeling energized and excited. I am excited for you to experience a short snippet of the dynamic she and I have as we travel the world and live our dreams!
