Before Star Wars was a worldwide hit, George Lucas inked a deal with his ghostwriter for a print-only back up sequel, just in case the movie was a flop! Alex, Davis, and Jesse read Splinter of the Mind's Eye, a strange book that occupies a space between canon and an alternate universe!
