This week I’m breaking down a wild stretch in wrestling with Jeff Dye, Sheamus getting moved to WWE’s alumni section (and what that might say about WWE’s shifting philosophy on veterans), plus AEW’s Forbidden Door fallout with MJF surviving a brutal bloodbath and Kenny Omega stepping in to set up their huge showdown on the road to Ospreay. Then jump to WWE where Gunther takes Cody out early, Seth Rollins and LA Knight trade fire, and CM Punk returns in a big way by beating Sami Zayn for a shockingly short title reign—setting up Punk vs Cody.
