Poet Anup Sohanta - or as you may know him, "noopface" - joins Danielle to discuss his writing, societal views of sex, and the lasting impacts of our current compounding pandemics. Anup digs into his journey to reveal himself to the world, one which required him to have courage and own his artistic voice. Danielle and Anup discuss his poetry collection From the Universe’s Lips to My Ears, the cultural stigmas surrounding sex, and the safe space he has been able to create for people to enjoy and engage with his work. Anup and Danielle also dive into how Black Lives Matter has grown into an internationally recognized and supported movement, and the hope Anup has for the future.
