Vital Voices President and CEO Alyse Nelson sat down with Lucina Di Meco, Global Fellow at the Wilson Center and Senior Director for Girls' Education and Gender Equality at Room to Read - an international non profit that focuses on literacy and gender equality through education in low income communities around the world. Lucina's report, available here, explores how traditional and social media treats women in politics, and was produced after interviews with 88 women leaders in 30 countries across politics, journalism, television, civil society, academia, technology and social media.
