Held Hostage: a conversation with Aviva Siegel

The war has been a period of grief and anxiety, but also of strain and stress felt around every Jewish table, inside Israel and out. For this special episode, exactly one month after the 7 October attacks, Yonit and Jonathan decided they should talk through some of the tensions that have surfaced in their own conversations, teasing out some of the differences between them and bringing those differences into the open. The aim was a conversation between two people - one in Israel, one in the Jewish diaspora - that would be raw and candid, true and heartfelt... but also, perhaps, a little cathartic.
