Christmas 1973, and two young climbers experienced the most terrifying night of their lives in a bothy in the Scottish mountains. The events that took place that night would haunt one of those young men, Phil, for the rest of his life. 

In 2021, Phil told Danny Robins his story, and it became one of the most popular episodes of Uncanny to date. Now, for this special Christmas episode and five decades on from Phil’s original experience, Danny is strapping on his rucksack and heading for the Highlands, to take Phil back to where it all happened. 

Is whatever haunted Luibeilt still there? Will Danny survive the night?

The Haunting of Hollymount Farm is the story of Liam and the terrifying events growing up on his family farm. 

Throughout his childhood Liam experiences strange activity, including seeing a ghostly sighting of a little boy. For years Liam thinks he’s alone in his experiences, but when his parents finally open up, Liam discovers that not only had they also seen things – including the little boy and a strange hooded figure - but his grandparents had odd experiences dating all the way back to the 1960s. 

We ended the TV episode with the extraordinary revelation that the farm was previously on the grounds of an orphanage, run by nuns. Could that explain the little boy and the hooded figure?

In this extended podcast episode of Uncanny: Post Mortem, Danny Robins delves deeper into the haunting of Hollymount Farm, uncovering fresh evidence, new leads and revelations about this chilling case. Emily’s Room is the story of Angela, who moves with her young family into a new dream house – where something terrifying apparently lurks.

Angela feels a strange sense of presence and her daughter Emily claims to see the ghost of a little girl and an old man in her bedroom. When a babysitter also seemingly witnesses this presence, things all start to feel very real – three pet hamsters are found dead, laid out in the very same place in the hall and Emily is seemingly pushed down the stairs – by, she claims, the Old Man.
