Does God Exist? Shaun Stevenson vs Nathan Elvidge hosted by Andy Kind

Two world-class cosmologists talk it out in a classic Unbelievable? podcast debate: What best explains the universe—God or naturalism? Christian astrophysicist Luke Barnes (Sydney Institute for Astronomy; co-author A Fortunate Universe) and atheist physicist Sean Carroll (Caltech; author The Big Picture) explore whether Big Bang cosmology hints at a beginning with purpose, or a brute fact within a naturalistic story. Bart Ehrman is James A Gray Distingushed Prof of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is well known as a Bible scholar who has thrown doubt upon the reliability of Scripture with bestselling books "Misquoting Jesus" & "Forged".

Bart once held a strong evangelical Christian faith. He explains why he abandoned it as he discusses his deconversion with Mike Licona who is Research Professor of New Testament at Southern Evangelical Seminary.

Mike also experienced a crisis of faith but pursued Biblical research which led him to the conclusion that the resurrection of Jesus is a fact of history and that the Bible is reliable.
