Tom E. Curran addresses the flurry of reporting on Christian Gonzalez’s contract situation over the last week, and he says wake him when it’s over. He says he’s not worried about the deal not getting done, and he’s not worried about Gonzalez not playing Week 1 against the Seahawks. He also addresses the latest news around Bill Belichick and UNC. Reports allege possible drug use and sexual misconduct by Steve Belichick. Curran wonders if the drama surrounding Belichick will impact his candidacy into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and, if it does, he says it would be ludicrous.
