TAP is centered around healing methods, psychological insights and the mystery pointed to by the forgotten languages of the soul. My name is Mannah, and my aim here is talk about how to TAP into wholeness. To let the questions breathe in that inner place where Wholeness can be found. I do this by inviting thought leaders, authors, and healers of our time into honest conversation with me, not holding back my own longings and fears. We are in this together!

I started TAP as a way to speak freely of my own experience and my own interest in different books and philosophies (I was in fact recovering from having done many interviews — in my native language, that is. TAP is the only podcast I've released in English). Only a few months in… I realized… I cannot NOT interview… it feels like part of my true nature. This is when TAP evolved into more of a conversational magazine with thought leaders, healers, and authors of our time.

Therapeutic Astrology is not just a blend of healing practices. It is the understanding that trauma therapy and the wisdom of the stars share a common root, cover the same ground, and together can open the hidden landscapes of the psyche. Both are weaker without the other. My guests come from a variety of backgrounds, but somehow their work inspires me and is related to what I work for in this lifetime.

We live in a time of great transition, and I believe we need all wisdom traditions and lived experiences to help our world and our minds heal.

Astrology, in particular, has long been pushed to the margins, often treated as taboo or dismissed as superstition. But to me, astrology is about uncovering the hidden patterns that shape our lives, so we can work with them consciously — just as we do in many trauma and psychotherapies. 

Having the word ASTROLOGY in the name of my podcast is a statement of integrity, and of honoring symbolic ways of knowing. Not all episodes are about astrology, but when I am present, it is always, in some way, part of the conversation.

With TAP, I want to honor astrology, therapy, and the many paths of healing as sacred forces we can tap into, to be guided through existence.

Kingsley Dennis, author and researcher, points to an honest truth in our collective mind. We talk a bit about "Healing the Wounded Mind: The Psychosis of the Modern World and the Search for the Self," his book from 2019, but actually our conversation centers on a theme that runs through ALL of his books. RECOMMENDED listening for sure - in astrology we speak of a virgo stellium with chiron in pisces in opposition to that.

#124 - Georgi Y. Johnson - Nondual Therapy - The Healing Qualities of True Nature

Let's talk about navigating darkness! Everyone on a spiritual path encounters challenges, and in this chapter of TAP we meet author Oholomo, who talks about rather than transcending or letting go, we can welcome and fully embody them- so that its energy can be liberated and expressed in the present. When we awaken DOWN into life it begins with a Descent. The call to the Below can take many forms and we each have our own personal experience of it. Like Oholomo says in this book, "Awakening the below":
 
"Once we turn toward the call, whether through our choice or not, a chasm will open up and we will be drawn down into its darkness. This process is never a perfectly step-by-step linear one, and everyone's experience is unique. Some people find themselves having dramatic mystical experiences when moving through the Below, while others have more of a gradual unfolding. Some people experience high levels of absorption whereby their entire reality seems to be shaped by the Below to the exclusion of all else. Others are able to maintain a wider, more holistic perspective that allows them to do the work of integration as they go along. Awakening the Above and Below may happen sequentially or simultaneously, or perhaps all mixed together."
 
People, you really don't want to miss this one—especially if you've known darkness in your own life. My hope is that it inspires you to go deeper and experiment with a model that isn't about disidentifying from the darkness, but about fully sinking into it.
 
Oholomo articulates this with such clarity, and his voice has a quality that seems to draw you directly into the Below, I feel inspired to move further myself.

Moreover, there can be advantages in slowing the presentation of information right down, as in meditation. The equation indicates that as the movement of conscious focus slows towards a point, intelligence expands towards infinity!")

#117 - Shauna Winram - Consciousness and the Phenomenology of Psychosis

Kaedrich Olsen is a seasoned Paranormal Arts Mentor, and in this episode he shares about Sacred Masculinity and how to relate to the modern world through inspiration from Norse mysticism.
 
A small note from me: I trusted my microphone to be on, but it didn't connect to my computer for some reason, so my audio is less fortunate — I hope you can flow with it!!
 
Tap in to hear some juicy parts about how Kaedrich has been studying Norse mythology, mysticism, and the old belief systems since his teenage years. He discovered the runes and even translated the Poetic Edda himself to understand the Old Norse mindset. The Norse people lived with spirituality as an everyday part of life — what we call the supernatural was simply the invisible part of nature.

-The mature warrior is calm, self-contained, and protects out of love for what's behind him — family, home, community.

 – The current turmoil in the world is like a collective shadow surfacing, calling us to evolve
 – Loki, the Norse trickster, stirs things up and creates discomfort, but when the dust settles, everyone is better off!!
 – I also get his take on the Vikings tv-series- he in stead recommends "The North Man" and "The Last Kingdom" and shares that Ragnar Lothbrok is "sort of like a King Arthur figure," likely an "amalgam."
