Despite what Republican lawmakers, including Ted Cruz, are claiming, the Taliban did not hang an interpreter from a U.S. helicopter. Even with the war in Afghanistan coming to an end, the GOP is attempting to add $25 billion to the military budget. What happens now that the Taliban have access to U.S. military aircraft.
