It's our final entry in our 'That's a comic book movie?!?' series! And we're taking a look at an entry that's barely an entry, 2013's Oblivion. This is the first pairing of Tom Cruise and Joseph Kosinski who'd later reteam in the much more successful Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Set in the apocalyptic future of 2077, there's a big triangle in the sky telling Tom Cruise what to do which you'd think would be fine but it might be bad actually. We're tackling Bulletproof Monk from 2003, the Chow Yun-fat and Sean William Scott lead action comedy that we discover is completely servicable and forgettable as a movie about a magic scroll that gives you some magic. The fight scenes are okay! The cast chemistry is okay! And the story is okay! What more could you want from a movie nobody has seen or ever talked about. We're back with the next installment of our look at Comic Book Movies that people might not know are comic book movies! This week, the Pamela Anderson 1996 action vehicle Barb Wire. Based on the comic of the same name published under Dark Horse and Comics Greatest World it sees Barbara "The Wire" Kopetski facing a distopian nightmare future in the far flung future of 2017. And for a movie that isn't great it sure has it all. Fights! Motor bikes! Explosions! An extended stripping scene whilst Pamela Anderson gets hosed down for a really long time! And in the first of four weeks we're taking a look at peak JCVD (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Timecop. A movie about a man who's both time and cop determined to stop financial criminality across the centuries whilst not really bothering with the actual ramifications. Smallville did a hell of a job reinstablishing the origins of Clark Kent/Superman as well building it's own law that's become canon across other DC Universes including Superman in the DCU. Here we look at the pilot episode, a Christopher Reeve cameo episode plus the two hour series finale that wrapped up it's incredible 10 season run. Plus we get into the freak of the week trope, the lack of an actual Superman costume or apperance, it's continuation in the CW with Crisis on Infinate Earths, Season 11 and the potential upcoming animated series. 582 Jurassic World Rebirth

Iron Man 3 in 2013 landed red hot off the back of the The Avengers. Promising to delve into Tony Stark's PTST resulting from the Invasion Of New York along with the revelation about the villain that was supposedly behind it all, The Mandarin. I mean it does do these things but not with some twists and turns along the way in addition to some very odd choices. Despite some minor controversy it does a lot of things right which we get right into in this final film in the Iron Man trilogy, this is our Caravan Of Garbage review.
