In the latest episode of our epic, chapter-by-chapter Silmarillion journey, we explore "Akallabíth", the legend of Númenor's rise and fall. With Morgoth having been defeated in the War of Wrath, the Men allied with the Elves of Beleriand are rewarded with an earthly paradise: the Island of Númenor.
