A horrific story out of Oklahoma has left two children without their mother. 43-year-old Sara Gilson joined in on a TikTok trend pretending to sit down for a Netflix documentary, that she said would be about her “soon to be ex-husband who I just found out is a pedophile.” Two weeks later, her young son called 9-1-1 to say his stepdad shot his mom. Police found Gilson dead, shot in the head next to her 48-year-old estranged husband who had a self inflicted gunshot wound. We go into the backstory of this tragic outcome, beginning with the allegations against her ex, that ultimately led to both of their deaths.

There were audible gasps in the courtroom as the medical examiner showed photos from the autopsy of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, detailing how the young teen was stabbed twice and then dismembered. We also heard testimony from a police detective who went over the sexually graphic and explicit photos and videos between D4vd and Celeste, including text messages describing at least one pregnancy and abortion.

T.J. questions the validity of the voice memo, but regardless of its validity, it’s sparked an interesting debate online. While having someone disclose their sexual intentions in advance is generally regarded as a good thing, it was presented as an ultimatum rather than a conversation, and that’s been the big issue. Was he manipulative and disrespectful, or was he just replaying a refreshing directness we’re not used to hearing in the dating world.
