In this new series of talks, I talk to the farriers who have done real research in to farriery, whilst doing higher exams. As part of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, Fellowship (FWCF) exam you have to produce a thesis on a subject of your choice relevant to farriery.
One of the biggest problems with science and farriery is when published it is hard to understand to those who have not been involved in scientific research. So in this new series I sit down with these people at the top of their game and we have a "down to earth" chat about their research and ask the questions we all want to know.
Today I talk to Mark Trussler FWCF, who when he got to the end of his AWCF journey, decided to carry it on to the FWCF. Mark's Thesis looks at "Laterally Offset Hoof Capsules and their Effect Upon the Medial Hoof". In this podcast we discuss the why's, where's, and what's.
