They get into the Jays' plan to acquire controllable starting pitchers, the tough decision to trade away veteran players Jeff Hoffman and Daulton Varsho, and how the returning pieces can help the team moving forward. Then, JD and Ben discuss the Kevin Gausman deal and the potential to bring him back as a free agent this offseason, before digging into the moves to bring in pitchers Jose Soriano from the Angels and Spencer Arrighetti from the Astros, and the plans to improve the lineup in the offseason amidst their horrific offensive season.
