In today’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley expose the growing political vacuum as Andy Burnham intervenes in the deportation case of the Rochdale grooming gang leader Shabir Ahmed - as outgoing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is seemingly nowhere to be seen in the debate.

The pair also break down the exclusive report from Camilla Turner, The Telegraph’s Sunday Political Editor, into the secret dossier codenamed Project Fish, which alleges that Russian spies viewed Lord Peter Mandelson as a ‘privileged contact’.

Starmer out, schools closed and sun-lounger wars

In this week’s Royal T, Camilla Tominey and Hannah Furness dissect King Charles’ tax bill as the first monarch to publicly disclose his personal tax payments, alongside figures also released from Kensington Palace on Prince William’s personal tax bill. They also discuss the announcement that Buckingham Palace will no longer serve as a royal residence for King Charles and Queen Camilla, as the landmark moves to become the administrative headquarters of the British Royal family.

Camilla and Hannah also discuss this historic shift to radical transparency from the royals with former Home Affairs minister Norman Baker, who explains why he doesn’t think the disclosure goes far enough in revealing the royal family’s use of public money.

In today’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley speak to Katherine Birbalsingh – dubbed Britain’s strictest headteacher for her work at Michaela Community School in north-west London – about the row that has broken out between Bridget Phillipson and Kemi Badenoch following the Conservative leader’s fiery attack on the Education Secretary.

Ms Birbalsingh agrees with Ms Badenoch that Ms Phillipson is a “class warrior” and believes that while her intentions come from a “good place”, her policies will actually have a negative effect and harm poor school pupils.

Elsewhere, Camilla and Allister Heath discuss the latest developments over the Labour leadership and why Andy Burnham, the lead contender to replace Sir Keir Starmer, might betray Brexit if he wins the keys to No 10.
