McCarthy Finally Becomes Speaker; Guests Sen. Josh Hawley and Actor Kirk Cameron

On today's show we begin with a breakdown of the speaker's race, which is finally over. What was accomplished? Not much, but a couple of big things, namely commitments to more investigations, more conservatives on key committees, and a commitment to have spending bills be single issue. These are not bad results, but were they were worth the semi-humiliating food fight? Only time will tell.

Then we hit a few other topics before we have our guests today.

Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri first, then Christian conservative filmmaker and now author Kirk Cameron. Kirk's children's book was canceled by a public library or two but he is not backing down trying to get the word out about God and country. He seems like a guy who is well worth your support.
