It’s not even September and yet, some seasons have not got off to the start that fans wished.

After multiple places to begin and a bit of chat about more Jude Bellingham brilliance, Musa and Ryan then move on to what has been a difficult start for Spurs and another home defeat, this time to Newcastle United (08:34). They examine quite how much time Roberto de Zerbi will be given, considering the big spending summer, which raised expectations massively.

There’s also some chat about Manchester United’s win over Ipswich (27:22), Liverpool (39:00), plus the Bundesliga’s return, a stuttering start for PSG and much, much more.

It’s too early for a crisis right… right?

The Premier League is back and so are Musa and Ryan, who chat about the first games of the new season, which showed signs of a new dynamic emerging in England’s top flight. 

Arsenal got off to a routine start, whereas Manchester United, Aston Villa, Spurs and more suffered very disappointing opening weekend defeats. Hull, Ipswich, Brighton and Brentford had the headline wins, so there’s chat about whether teams will take advantage of the post World Cup variables and how important it is for clubs not to fall behind.

There are also shoutouts for some results in Spain, Italy, France, Germany and… the J-League!

Is this the start of a new look Premier League?

We’re now back on the free feed and into the regular season schedule!

Musa and Ryan begin with a quick shout out for Cameroon winning their first Women’s AFCON, defeating Malawi 3-0 in Rabat (03:08).

They then move onto Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield (06:26) and discuss what the takeaways were for both Mikel Arteta and Enzo Maresca and if this tells us anything about this year’s Premier League.

Speaking of which, they then go through the league club by club (23:55), making their ‘no lower than’ position predictions for this season, and chat a bit about Paul Pogba to finish.

We're so back! Community Shield takeaways, Premier League look ahead and more!

Spain’s men won their second World Cup, beating Argentina 1-0 after extra-time. Musa and Ryan chat about Spain’s brilliant performance in the final and the tournament as a whole, how the best team won and some more takeaways from the final.

We’ll be doing some more zoomed out thoughts about the World Cup and the final on our next show for members. World Cup 2026 - Spain are world champions!

Argentina are once again into the World Cup final, after two late goals secured an epic turn around and a 2-1 win over England.

Ahead of his guest appearance at the Stadio live show next week, Nish Kumar joins Musa and Ryan (04:01) to chat about England’s 2-1 win over Norway, which included some more Jude Bellingham brilliance (12:45). World Cup 2026, with Nish Kumar! Bellingham again, Spain and Argentina wins and more!

The round of 16 games are underway and delivering!

Musa and Ryan chat about England’s 3-2 against Mexico at the Azteca (02.50) which saw weather delays, penalties and a red card, but ultimately, two Jude Bellingham goals and a Harry Kane penalty rewarding Thomas Tuchel’s side with a place in the quarter-finals.

Norway await England, following their 2-1 win against Brazil and another two goals for Erling Haaland (26:48). There’s also chat about Morocco’s win over Canada and France getting past Paraguay (40:45), plus some thoughts on Folarin Balogun’s red card ban being suspended, meaning he will play against Belgium.

The round of 32 is underway, so Musa and Ryan begin with a quick chat about Canada’s win over South Africa in Los Angeles, to be the first side to progress to the round of 16 this year.

They then chat a bit about a few more of the final group games, before moving onto some thoughts on England, the performances and the discourse around the side, despite Thomas Tuchel’s side finishing top of the group (17:49).

World Cup 2026: England thoughts and the round of 32 begins

Musa and Ryan begin with Spain’s 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia, which saw three goals in the first half and the ability to rest some key players for the second (02:10). They chat about Spain’s depth and whether that can be the thing that is the key advantage over other World Cup favourites.

There’s also chat about another Cape Verde draw (10:06) and their first World Cup goals, as they held Uruguay to a 2-2 draw. Plus, Belgium’s draw with Iran, which features one of the most spiritually onside goals of the tournament so far, Curaçao’s first point, Egypt’s first win, Germany, Japan and a few big picture thoughts (33:07).
