SCP-2519 is a digital audio file named "Babylon.mp3", which encodes the 3-part round "By the waters of Babylon," based on the music written by Philip Hayes (1738-1797) and set to the text of Psalm 137. Audio analysis indicates that the recorded music is played by a small cylinder music box.

SCP-2519: "Cry Me A River"

I have a very important update about the future of SCP Archives. 

The decision has been made to shut down our show at the end of this year. 

SCP has been a big part of my life, and I want to celebrate the community it’s created, the careers it’s launched, and all the really cool art we’ve made together. Here’s what the next few months look like:

 • Between Oct 1 & Dec 31 we’ll be releasing all the finished episodes we have stockpiled. That means two full length episodes every week on Tuesdays & Thursdays!
 • Additionally, I’ll be hosting live listen parties on our Discord every Tuesday evening so we can listen to these last few episodes together. Let’s make this a big party.
 • In January we’ll archive & move all of our episodes to a 
new • podcast feed. This feed will have ad-free episodes available to the public.
 • All the bonus episodes will still be available on Patreon, and we’ll be making that collection free as well starting in January. 
 • We’ll be delivering 
monthly • postcards to all of our Patrons, $10+ starting in October. Stickers & other goodies for our $20+ Patrons.
 • These might not be SCP specific, but I’m gonna pull some of the coolest art I have, and send everyone something hand crafted. 
 • Our Patreon will shift it’s focus to whatever my next project is. 

I’m looking forward to celebrating everything we’ve made here over the next three months, and I hope you’ll all join me for whatever’s next. I wanted you all to hear this from me, here, first. I’ll be putting up a public announcement on our show feed sometime next week.

SCP-6010: “Carcinization”

SCP-4700 is the designation assigned to several large-scale submersible vehicles under the joint Foundation-Finnfolk command of Operation HIGH TIDE. SCP-4700-1 is a large, motile, deep-sea vehicle resembling Coenobita brevimanus, a large species of "hermit crab". SCP-4700-1 serves as the home and capital for the thaumotologically advanced, aquatic hominid race known as the Finnfolk.
