Ultra-marathon runner Rob Pope, better known as "the real-life Forrest Gump" is back with more tales of incredible feats of human endurance... and even a near death experience.
In this episode, Rob talks about his latest challenge: a 569-mile, 14-day coast-to-coast run across Britain for Nestlé's Taste Trail, which raised over 175,000 meals for The Felix Project. The man who ran Forrest Gump's famous USA journey, 5 times over - now tells us how running across the UK compares! KitKat factories, perils of Scottish roads, rural beauty and more.
He also tells Jenni about running 2,000km across Australia alongside AC/DC's tour dates — where he met the band, who turned out to be huge supporters of his challenge, and had a terrifyingly close call with one of the world's deadliest snakes along the way.
Expect blisters, near-death wildlife encounters and a run-in with rock royalty... all in a day's work for Rob.
