It's day 21 of the government shutdown. The Senate failed to pass the bill to reopen the government a dozen times. The House of Representatives remains in recess, and Democratic leaders say they are ready to negotiate with Republicans to get the government running again. And a pardoned Jan. 6 terrorist is behind bars for allegedly threatening to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
