Maduro, China and Venezuela, Greenland threats and Tim Walz

Venezuela's acting president is offering to collaborate with the United States after President Trump threatens further strikes. Deposed president Nicolas Maduro is scheduled to appear before a federal judge in New York, as the United Nations meets to discuss the legality of his capture. Plus, Trump suggests Colombia and Mexico could also face military action if they do not reduce the flow of illicit drugs to the United States.

Venezuela: Trump’s threats, Caracas’ change of tone and Maduro in court

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is being held in a New York detention center after U.S. President Donald Trump ordered a raid to capture the South American leader and take control of the country and its vast oil reserves. Maduro's vice president, Delcy Rodriguez, has called it a kidnapping and is demanding his immediate release.

Venezuela: Maduro in NY custody, Caracas defiance and oil

President Donald Trump says the United States will run Venezuela until a proper transition of power can be arranged. The declaration comes after the US captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in a dramatic overnight operation. Maduro and his wife are en route to the United States to face criminal charges.
