In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Bruce Springsteen has released a new song dedicated to Minnesota’s largest city as a response to “the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis” and the recent killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal immigration agents in the city. The musician has been a critic of President Trump since before his first term.

Also a Virginia healthcare worker has drawn intense criticism and legal scrutiny after posting videos that appear to encourage people to inject ICE agents with ‘succinylcholine’ and engage in other harmful acts. The videos, shared widely on social media, allegedly show a woman identified only as Melinda, advocating for a range of extreme sabotage tactics targeted at ICE personnel. Among her purported suggestions were that people, particularly women, obtain syringes filled with saline “or succinylcholine” to inject agents, as well as spray “poison ivy water” on them and even drug their drinks after going on dates.

A trailing blast of Arctic air associated with the polar vortex is expected to bring a dangerous refreeze that could create long-duration power outages and paralyze travel for days. In anticipation for the intense storm, as of 9 p.m. EST Thursday, nearly 1,300 flights have already been canceled across the U.S. through Saturday, with thousands more expected to be canceled into early next week.

Also Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the power grid in Texas will sustain potential loss of power and a subsequent discussion on solar and wind power.
