Also Florida Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon, an avowed Democratic Socialist who owns two homes and raked in at least $270,000 from her jobs and investments last year—in addition to her husband's unpublished income—is lamenting the injustice of having to pay taxes on her outsized income.

And Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned Friday of "racial terror" and "widespread modern-day lynchings" in the U.S. as she joined dozens of Democrats demanding that the DOJ and FBI investigate hanging deaths of Black Americans.

Bottom Line .. in about 22 days, a large portion of government health care subsidies expire, affecting the cost and availability of insurance for no less than millions of people. And yet, Congress is set to leave Washington in two weeks. While we suddenly have a number of plans to try to fix this problem, there is also Republican paralysis over which one they want. Only time will tell.
