Alito asked Kathleen R. Hartnett, who is arguing on behalf of the Idaho student in the Supreme Court case, what it meant to be a "boy or a girl or a man or a woman" when it came to equal protection purposes. Hartnett agreed that a school may have separate teams for students "classified as boys and a category of students classified as girls." Hartnett also agreed there needed to be "an understanding of what it means to be a boy or a girl and a man or a woman." Plus how the law is interpreted simply by what you think it is, selling NFL streaming services, a look at Tuesday's inflation numbers and how tariffs have pushed inflation.

01-14-26 Part One - Don't Touch That Dial!

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Minnesota and the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul sued the Trump administration Monday, seeking to block a massive federal immigration enforcement surge they say has flooded the Twin Cities with armed agents, sparked fear and unrest, and interfered with state and local authorities, according to court filings. The lawsuit names Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, top officials with DHS, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), including Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons and Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino, along with the federal agencies themselves.

Also federal prosecutors open a surprise investigation into Fed Chair Jerome Powell, audio from CNN on what law enforcement officials knew about the Portland shooting involving TPA gang members, and how the left seems to want violence.

01-08-26 Part Two - Government Intrusion for Home Owners

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, city leaders have identified the woman killed during an ICE operation in Minneapolis Wednesday as 37 year-old Renee Nicole Good and federal and local officials offered sharply different accounts of the shooting. The fatal shooting occurred during an ICE enforcement operation in south Minneapolis, according to the Department of Homeland Security, which said agents were attempting to make arrests when Good tried to use her vehicle as a weapon against officers, prompting a federal agent to fire in self-defense. Good was pronounced dead after being struck by gunfire. The agent involved has not been publicly identified, and the incident remains under investigation. As expected liberal politicians are in an uproar demonizing ICE agents and the Trump administration over the incident.

Also audio from Jonathan Turley on using the vehicle as a weapon and the lack of due process for the investigation, another situation that exposes the Democrat's lack of critical thinking, billionaires make strategic moves out of California ahead of proposed wealth tax and cell phone cameras and social media platforms offering citizen journalists the opportunity to broadcast breaking news.
