In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Canadian exporters who sell clothing, alcohol and other products hit by the new 50 percent U.S. tariffs are worried the levies will discourage American consumers — which would take a debilitating bite out of their businesses. After a year of escalating tensions between the Trump administration and Canada, Canadian businesses have already exhausted the most logical options to expand their customer bases, said Dan Kelly, president of the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses.

Also American life expectancy hit a record in 2024 as deaths fell from most major causes, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report this week / and according to the National Review, one of the top reasons Americans cite for opposing data centers is their excessive water use.
