08-28-26 Part Two - The Terror of Tariffs

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, it seems every time Abdul El-Sayed, the Michigan Democrat running for U.S. Senate, opens his mouth, chaos ensues. Monday's interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters simply got too personal. They were talking about transgender surgery, and it became intense. Watters kept pressing, saying, “So you think it’s OK for a parent to slash his kid’s ding-a-ling off?” El-Sayed responded: “Are you circumcised?” Watters said, “Yeah, but that’s a personal question, Doctor!” El-Sayed was trying to make the point that a lot of personal medical decisions are made between families and doctors. Watters said that “circumcision is different than castration.” The fallout from this and the countless other senseless comments from El Sayed are atrocious. 

Also the Dems protective stance on transgenderism / examining the agenda of John Fetterman / the NFL ends the Pro Bowl game / and the Federal Reserve’s preferred measure of inflation remained flat in July, according to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

08-27-26 Part One - Abdul El Sayed Goes Too Far

In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Tim Curry, a character actor who created a gallery of delicious, very loony villains for stage and screen, including Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and the smug concierge in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” has died. He was 80. Curry, who suffered a stroke in 2012 that put him in a wheelchair, died Tuesday night at his home in Los Angeles, according to his longtime manager and friend Marcia Hurwitz. No cause was disclosed.

The guys discuss losing celebrities and the impact they leave on their fans and society. In the wake of losing Dolly Parton on Tuesday, who was also 80, we all reflect on the lasting legacy artists, actors and musicians leave when they pass.

08-24-26 Part Two - Youth Turning To Trades

In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, many retirees on fixed incomes already struggle to keep pace with inflation. and if Congress doesn't take action to address Social Security's looming insolvency, the situation could soon become dire.

The primary Social Security trust fund from which retirement and survivor benefits are paid — the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance, or OASI, fund — is now forecast to be depleted by 2032, one year earlier than last year's estimate. Projections pin the 75-year shortfall at $30 trillion.

According to the Bipartisan Policy Center, the revised timeline is the result of changes enacted in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. If a solution isn't found before 2032, benefits for future and existing recipients are expected to be reduced dramatically.
