Honnold -- considered one of the best climbers in the world -- shot to fame with the Oscar-winning documentary "Free Solo," which documented his no-ropes climb up Yosemite's Dawn Wall. He's the only person to ever free solo the Dawn Wall, considered the holy grail of climbing. Tonight's broadcast comes with controversy and criticism, especially now that Honnold is a husband and father of two young girls.

The defense attorney for Brendon Banfield made some significant headway this afternoon, questioning if investigators came up with their catfishing theory first, and then tried to make the evidence fit later. Banfield is charged with murdering his wife, and a stranger they say he catfished to his home to frame for her murder, along side his au pair and mistress. Also coming out in court today, it may have been Brendan Banfield’s 4 year old daughter who led investigators to their theory.

Amy and T.J. get you caught up on the latest in the salacious BDSM murder trial where prosecutors say Brendan Banfield conspired with his au pair/lover to kill his wife and pin her murder on a stranger. The defense began its case on Wednesday with a much anticipated digital forensics officer who was reassigned from the case. As the defense tries to poke holes in the prosecution’s narrative, the state has been extremely effective in knocking down any suggestion that Banfield wasn’t the mastermind behind the double murder.

After 7 hours of deliberating, a Texas jury finds former Uvalde police officer Adrian Gonzales not guilty of 29 counts of child endangerment. It was an emotional 2 weeks of testimony, many victims’ families traveling hundreds of miles, looking for justice after officers waited 77 minutes to confront the gunman who killed 19 students and 2 teachers at Robb Elementary School nearly 4 years ago. Officer Gonzales arrived before the gunman entered the school and waited for backup as hundreds of shots rang out inside the school.

Developing Overnight: Uvalde Verdict In ... NOT GUILTY

Criminal defense attorney Alison Triessl has been closely following the Brendan Banfield BDSM trial for the past two weeks. A former IRS agent, Brendan Banfield is fighting for his freedom, charged with a double homicide for the murders of his wife, Christine and a stranger prosecutors say Banfield, along with the help of his au pair turned lover, lured to his home to set up for his wife’s death. The prosecution’s case against Banfield rests primarily on the testimony of the au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães, who told jurors about their plan to “get rid of” Christine and pin the murder on Joseph Ryan, a man who believed he was coming to the Banfield home to participate in a BDSM sexual fantasy.

President Trump announced he has reached an agreement with NATO over a Greenland deal. Trump wouldn’t get into the details, saying only that the “solution will be a great one for the United States” and that he’s dropping the tariffs scheduled for next month. Meantime, press secretary Karoline Leavitt denied to reporters that Trump accidentally referred to Greenland as Iceland multiple times in his speech earlier in the day, despite the fact that President Trump ABSOLUTELY said Iceland. We all heard it.

At the age of 45, seven time grand slam winner Venus Williams broke the Australian Open record as the oldest-ever women’s player in the tournament’s history. Williams first competed in the Australian Open when she was 17, three years before her opponent, 24-year-old Olga Danilovic was born. Even though Williams ultimately lost the match, she walked off the court to a standing ovation with a big smile and wave, saying she was really proud of her effort because she’s playing better with each match. What inspiration for us all to get back out there, and do what we love, no matter our age.
