Did The U.S. Gov't Put U.S. Lives at Risk to Protect Trump?

As news of Trump sneaking off Air Force One continues to make headlines, people are questioning the decision to leave unsuspecting journalists and White House staff members on a plane that had a credible enough threat to remove the President from it. Air Force One essentially became a decoy aircraft to hide Trump’s actual ride, a nearby military jet. Reaction online has been swift and harsh, many calling the President a coward, shameful and weak for hiding in a catering truck while Americans were potentially put in harms way.
