"When he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth." - John 16:13

Aside from the Holy Spirit being our Advocate, it is also the role of the Spirit to guide us into all truth -- that is, in all that is necessary to be known, in all that is useful and profitable for our life with God, in all doctrine and ways of spirituality. As the Spirit of Truth, he goes before us, leads the way, removes obstructions and opens understanding. He makes all things plain and clear.

Come, Holy Spirit, guide us into all truth!
