Do you have a long list of things you think God should do? Do you pray with the hope that persistence will make Him grant your requests? If your prayers align with His will, they will bear fruit. But if they stem from your own desires, no amount of prayer will make them so. If this is your struggle, begin again by fixing your eyes on the Suffering Servant. Remember that God’s ways are often far above your own. Humble yourself before Him and let go of any desire that does not flow from His Heart.

Embracing it wholeheartedly will not only renew you but also bring deeper meaning and purpose to your life.
