LISTEN | Morning Prayer - April 1, 2023 | Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent

"Cast away from you all the crimes you have committed, says the LORD, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit." - Ezekiel 18:31

The Liturgy is already inviting us to live in spirit Christ’s Passion and Death. In the Gospel we hear the death sentence passed onto Jesus by the High Priest and the Council.

As we move closer to the holiest of weeks, we are challenged to reflect on our sins and repent from them, and to seek a new life in God. God does not want us to perish, but to live in his love and forgiveness. He offers us a new heart and a new spirit, if we are willing to turn to him and follow his ways.
