LISTEN | Morning Prayer - April 18, 2022 | Monday within the Octave of Easter

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it." - Ps. 118:24

The joy of Christ's resurrection echoes through these days of Easter. The victory that He won for us reverberates through time and space. According to Moses and the prophets, Christ was to suffer all "these things and so to enter into His glory." And what was this "glory" which Christ merited by His sufferings and death? It was His resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His sitting at the right hand of the Father, the homage of all the nations. (Catholic Culture)
