LISTEN | Morning Prayer - April 3, 2023 | Monday of the Holy Week

"Mary took a liter of costly perfumed oil made from genuine aromatic nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair; the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil." John 12:3

Jesus was aware of his fate and accepted it with courage and trust in God. As He approaches near His death, Jesus receives Mary's genuine expression of gratitude and affection. Let us imitate Mary's example by expressing our love for Jesus in concrete ways, such as serving the poor and needy. We can also thank Jesus for his sacrifice on the cross, which opened the way for our salvation and eternal life.
