LISTEN | Morning Prayer - May 27, 2022 | Friday of the Sixth Week of Easter

"Christ the Lord has promised us the Holy Spirit: come, let us adore him, alleluia."

Jesus does not promise us a life free from hardship and pain nor a life that is always easy. Instead, He assures us that though we will follow in His footsteps if we choose to be his disciple, His presence will remain with us through the Holy Spirit who will transform all our pains and sufferings into the joy that He promises in the end.

Let us offer to God our fitting praise for the gift of the Holy Spirit as we join the whole Church in our Morning Praise through the ancient tradition of Lauds.
