Maranatha! Come, O Christ the Lord!

In these days' liturgy, we keep crying out, "Come, Lord Jesus!" But when he comes, do we appreciate or recognize him?

We can easily get distracted by the festive culture of the season that we forget they can interfere with our spiritual life.

Let us ask for the assistance of our Blessed Mother, that we may remain centered on Christ who is the source of our joy. She teaches us to "delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on his law day and night" - not on the pleasures of the world. With her help we will be able to remember always that "those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life."
