"Cast away from you all the crimes you have committed, says the LORD, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit." - Ez. 18:31

God does not rejoice in the death of a wicked man but rejoices to see that person converted. How consoling it is for us who struggle with sin! He delights to receive our humble and contrite hearts and His grace will accompany us in His work of purification. May this season of Lent be an opportune time for our conversion so that we may draw closer and closer to the Lord who saves us.
