Romans 5:8 says, ‘But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’

 
That’s not simply a mood or sentiment. That’s God keeping an ancient promise He made long before we ever thought of Him. This week, we look to the God who makes the promise, keeps the promise, and becomes the stability we stand on.

As we live out our shared purpose and values, we marvel at what God accomplishes and find joy in serving together, not for our own recognition, but so that Jesus receives all the glory.

This week, we dive into II Corinthians, where the Apostle Paul addresses the challenges of false teachings in the church at Corinth. Corinth was a city of wealth, idolatry, and immorality that presented significant challenges to the believers in Corinth. Paul shows us that as followers of Jesus, we are no longer beholden to the world's measurements of success. A Christian is a new creation in Christ, set free from the metrics used by secular culture.
