Robert interviews Ala'a Al Qaisi, writer and director of The Return, a play about Marwan, a grieving Palestinian father in Gaza, who waits for his martyred daughters to return through the clouds, only to embark on a surreal spiritual journey that explores life, death, murder, love and forgiveness.Ala'a speaks about the meaning of the title, the inspiration behind the play and the character Marwan, the meaning of the word martyr to Palestinians, and the importance of faith in Palestine.
