We are headed back to the good old days this week on NMP as Mathias and Daniel sit down with Gustav Holberg and Kjell Braaten , two of the OG musicians who helped start the genre we now know as, "Viking Music." Together with the boys they'll be sharing stories of their humble beginnings at a millenium new years party, and marveling at how huge the scene has become propelled by bands like Wardruna and Heilung. How did we get here from there? Well, it's complicated.

If you would like to listen to Gustav's experiments with psychedelic electro-folk you can find his stuff over at: Astralsynergy.com
