Forrest, Conan Neutron, Kristina Oakes and Alex @devilsadvocateproductions talk about Steven Spielberg's Jaws!! It's the 50th Anniversary of Jaws which was finally released after multiple delays in June 1975. 

Becoming the first movie to ever be delayed at Universal Pictures 100 extra days in production and cost $5 million extra dollars. 

Spielberg believed his career was over when he was through filming. Jaws was the first major motion picture actually filmed in the ocean rather than a freshwater lake or a studio tank. 

And, with a massive merchandising push from Universal and advertising push, it became the first Summer Blockbuster starting a tradition that still happens today!!

Based on the Stephen King Novella "The Life of Chuck" published in the 2020 anthology "If It Bleeds" 

The third Stephen King adaptation written and directed by Mike Flanagan after Gerald's Game and Dr. Sleep 

The Life of Chuck is a story in 3 parts in reverse chronology, each with a very different style and genre. Charles "Chuck" Krantz is an accountant with a secret passion for dance that he learns from his Bubbe (Mia Sara) and numbers that he learns from his Zaide (Mark Hamill) 

We watch Chuck deal with grief, love, loss, and eventually his own death at the age of 39. Though tragically short, Chuck's life contains multitudes. It is large.

Back in 2023, Forrest, Conan Neutron, and Kristina Oakes talked on an episode about Celine Song's debut Past Lives which we all loved 

Her second film, also written and directed by her, stars Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans.

 It's a "Romantic Comedy," although is it? Some have speculated it's secretly a horror movie, about a Match Maker named Lucy (Dakota Johnson) whose hooking up Wealthy Bored Miserable New Yorkers with each other. She is not in their class strata, and her ex-boyfriend John (Chris Evans) who she tried her life out with in the city is still trying to make it as an actor in the same apartment. 

As a Match Maker, she sells romantic dreams that can never truly be fulfilled this way.. setting people up by mathematical algorithm in a digital age. But, she gets a chance to live the dream she's selling... when a Finance Nepo Baby named Harry Castillo (Pedro Pascal) starts pursuing her.
