Not only does fear feel totally sucky, fear robs us of our potential.

Everyone has fear… and the way we experience it determines if we go for our dreams and lead a life we love, or we stay stuck and unfulfilled, and feel like we don’t have a purpose.

Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat. So it can totally be a byproduct of our self-worth issues, but it goes even further, because it can attach itself to anything.

One of the things we are most afraid of is the unknown… which means it can be difficult to take action on anything that is uncertain… which applies to everything we haven’t started yet.

Our guest today is Monica Berg, author of Fear is Not an Option. She’s had an incredible life story. 17 years ago she gave birth to a boy with special needs and in that moment, was forced to face what is a lot of parents biggest fears… and in doing so it turned into her greatest teacher.

Today we will learn:

• Why the unknown is often scarier than the worst case scenario

• How fear physically manifests and what to do about it

• How to shift your perspective and collect evidence for your own fearlessness
