Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is fighting his extradition to New York, where he faces a murder charge. He was denied bail during a court appearance in Pennsylvania. The shooter who opened fire at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, was a 15-year-old female student, Police Chief Shon Barnes said Monday. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot, he said. The shooting left one student and one teacher dead and six injured, including two people who are facing life-threatening conditions, Barnes said.

A Manhattan grand jury indicted Luigi Mangione for murder as an act of terrorism in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to newly released court documents.
