Ben Haines, Ellen White and Jen Beattie react to the Champions League draw with Arsenal and Manchester United both in the play-offs in February. United will face Atletico Madrid, Arsenal play Leuven with Chelsea coming up against whoever wins out of those two sides. 

Elsewhere West Ham manager Rehanne Skinner has been sacked with her side second from bottom in the WSL. Senior Women’s Football reporter Emma Sanders joins the team to discuss the decision with the club winning just one WSL match in 11 games.

Relegation, Champions League & Bunny Shaw unstoppable

Ahead of the third round of the Women's FA Cup, Senior Women's Football reporter Emma Sanders met up with Nat Lowe, captain of Altrincham FC, the lowest-ranked side left in the competition who play York City Ladies on Sunday 14th December. 

Nat is a former professional golfer who quit football due to the lack of opportunities when she was a teenager. She tells Emma all about her fascinating journey back to playing football, her favourite golf courses and what it means to make it to this stage of the competition.

Ben Haines, Ellen White and Jen Beattie discuss Chelsea's unbeaten run ending after 585 days! Has this result been coming and why are Sonia Bompastor's side struggling for form? 

On the flipside Manchester City are now six points clear at the top, is this their title to lose? It's sad news for Spurs' Jess Naz who is another player to sustain an ACL injury. 

And it's getting very close for those Champions League spots as we head into the last week of the WSL before Christmas.

Hear from Sarina Wiegman as she looks ahead to those qualifiers and having to face Spain again! The WSL returns this weekend with Jen and Ellen giving their thoughts on the 12 o’clock kick off times that have caused a bit of debate. 

There are proposed changes to the League Cup where teams who qualify for the league phase of the Champions League will no longer participate in the League Cup.

Lionesses, 2035 World Cup & League Cup changes

It’s the last international break of 2025 so Ben Haines and Emma Sanders are back at St. George’s Park as the Lionesses prepare for two friendlies against China and Ghana.

Em catches up with Liverpool captain Grace Fisk, who tells us about receiving another call-up, being a sponge around the senior leadership group on camp and being taught by an FBI agent in America! Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy also joins the pod to talk about building her confidence, new faces in camp and the FA reaching their target of 90% of schools in England offering girls equal access to football in PE.
